About Our Brand

 

We met in 2020, during our freshman year of college at Lindenwood University! While studying Fashion Design and Fashion Business, we quickly realized how great of a team we made. We’ve been pretty inseparable ever since then and have constantly done everything together. We ran student organizations, events, and runways. We worked the same retail jobs, collaborated on the same projects, and we did it all while being roommates! 

In May of 2024, we walked our final Lindenwood runway together, but we quickly decided it wouldn’t be our last. Instead, we immediately poured all of our creative energy into our brand, The Restless. 

This brand was inspired by the combination of our mutual love for different aspects of the fashion industry, along with our friendship and love for each other. We wanted to incorporate our sustainable, inclusive, and ethical values into The Restless and create a place where art continues to challenge reality. We have both always used fashion as a way of pushing boundaries, and creating art that acts as an invitation. 

We hope our story inspires you to support small artists and that you’ll join us on our journey as we create fashion with intention.
